10 Headband Tutorials Anyone Can Make

Bad hair day?  I find that a headband is often the easiest solution especially when I’m short on time.  I’ve made quite a few of my own headbands over the past few years so I’ve collected my favorite 10 headband tutorials here into one post for you.

Some of these headband tutorials require sewing but a bunch of them are no-sew as well.  So no worries if you don’t have a sewing machine.  To get to the tutorials simply click on the picture or title of the one you want to read.

  1. Fabric Flower Headband

This is the first one I made!  And I still wear it all the time.  This headband is no-sew.  All you need is a basic hot glue gun.

2. Basic Headband

I love these for when I work out or clean.  They keep my hair out of my face.  These are a great way to use up your knit scraps.

3. Knotted Headband

This one is a little twist on the basic headband above.  Love this knotted style!

4. Rope Headband

I’m a total cheater.  This one makes use of some decorative rope trim and takes about 5 minutes to make.

5. The Easiest No-Sew Headband

This is another cheater project using decorative trim.  It could not get any easier.

6. Ruffle Flower Headband

I think this one is especially adorable for little girls.  And again, another great use for scraps.

This headband is another one of those projects that is a great use of knit scraps.

8. Spiral Flower Headband

As you can see, there’s more than one way to make a fabric flower.  This one uses come colorful felt.

This sweet little bow is an easy, quick project.

When fall and winter temperatures roll around you’re going to want some of these.
