Hello! Happy New Year! Is it too late to say that? Probably, but let’s just go with it. We got back a few days ago from a wonderful trip to visit family in Virginia and Disney World.
I’m still really tired but it was amazing! I’m sure I will share a few posts about it soon but today I wanted to reflect on 2016. A little late for a recap of 2016 and I was planning on doing this before we left for our trip but I got strep the week we left and one kiddo had an ear infection so that made packing infinitely harder and zero blogging got done.
So without further ado, here’s what you loved in 2016:
[1] Baby Bib Tutorial with Printable Pattern
I wrote this post in 2015 but it was the most popular post this past year. It’s also my most popular post of all time.
This is a cozy project for our master bedroom that I love. I think I’m going to love getting these out each winter.
[3] Insulated Drink Cozy Tutorial
It’s January and I’m already looking forward to getting these babies out and hanging out on the back deck. I love backyard season!
[4] DIY Heat Packs
These are such an easy sew and make a great gift!
[5] Easy DIY Poncho
I’m so glad these are still in style.
[6] 5 Things that Help Me Get More Done in the Morning
I think we all benefit from sharing ideas with each other and if you have any tips for better productivity leave them in the comments as I’m always looking to improve!
[7] Hooded Baby Towel Gift Set
Just about as easy as making a baby blanket yet something a little different to give at showers.
[8] Contour Burp Cloth Pattern
These make another great shower gift.
Outside of craft tutorials you all seem to really love the printables. This coloring book is probably the thing from this year that I am most proud of. I used it with my kiddos and I loved hearing how it blessed other families.
[10] Clutch Tutorial
This year saw us finish the potty training journey with our younger son (yay!) but if you’re still in the phase of life where you need to carry around diapers or training pants then this clutch is fantastic for helping your organize your diaper bag.
I like reflecting on this because it helps me see what you find helpful and enjoy, which informs future content for the blog. This year I have some fun projects planned and I’m excited to see what we will be able to create together!
There will be a lot more sewing, crafts, recipes, and printables coming your way this year. As always I hope to encourage and inspire you. Thank you so much for your support of this blog!
