Good morning! We woke up to a blanket of snow this morning but my mind has already started thinking about all things Spring. This morning I’m sharing with you my free printable religious Easter coloring pages.
The Ester Story Coloring Book features 10 religious Easter coloring pages. Each page shows a part of the story of Easter from the books of Mark and Matthew in the Bible.
I teach a preschool Sunday School class and I have a few little ones who love to color. Generally I have a sort of “center time” when I allow them to pick an activity that they would like to do. I usually set up 3 different stations with activities related to the lesson of the day. Then they are able to choose what they want to do.
One of those centers is typically a coloring station. I provide crayons or makers, plain paper, and some coloring sheets of pictures from our lesson. Children can choose to color the coloring sheets or draw their own pictures of the story from our Bible lesson for that day.
I will use pages from this Easter Story coloring book for my coloring station in the weeks leading up to Easter. Then I will probably use these pictures to review the sequence of events in the Easter story with them.
Usually I have them help me put the pictures in order as a review activity. They love to unscramble them and put them in order up on the board.
Please feel free to use these pages for your own personal use at home or as a Sunday School teacher in your class. Please do not use them for any commercial purpose.

Additional Easter Resources:
If you’re looking for a good Bible for your child then I highly recommend the Read with Me Bible for Toddlers for kids that are 2-3. And I recommend The Jesus Storybook Bible for 4-5 year olds. We use both with our children and absolutely adore them. Both relate Bible stories in a way that our children enjoy and are perfect lengths for their attention spans.
I actually wrote a whole blog post about my favorite Bibles for preschoolers and elementary kids.
In addition to the Bible I like to use other books to help reinforce the Easter story are God Gave Us Easter, Mary’s Easter Story, and Benjamin’s Box: The Story of the Resurrection Eggs. All three are fantastic, but God Gave Us Easter is my favorite.
