Ashley Furniture Dinelli Sofa & Love Seat Review (1 Year Update)

I can hardly believe how quickly time seems to go sometimes.  We have now had our Dinelli sofa and love seat for over a year.  I wrote up a little 6 month review and since it’s now been a year I wanted to update you all on how they are doing.

Here’s what they looked like when we got them…

after 6 months…

and now.

Basically nothing has drastically changed since my 6 month review.  The saggy-ness has continued but has not gotten drastically worse.  I’m not shocked as we intentionally bought inexpensive pieces for this stage of life.  We wanted something that our boys could bounce around on and spill on and beat on and I wouldn’t freak out. Don’t get me wrong- we try to teach them to be respectful of the things in our homes (and especially other people’s homes!) but kids are kids and let’s face it, they constantly have jam hands.  And I would not be keen to have jam all over an Ethan Allen or Pottery Barn couch.

I still like our sofa and love seat very much and overall I’m totally pleased with our purchase.  One of the great things about this couch is that the fabric doesn’t seem to show wear and tear.  I can’t see any stains on it and everything seems to wipe off of it very easily.  Having a 2 and 4 year old boy I really appreciate this!

Anyone else there have a Dinelli or other pieces from Ashley?  Have you been pleased with your purchases?  If you have any questions I’d be happy to answer them if you leave them for me in the comments below!
