It’s been a while since I last share some fun fabric finds with you all but last week I took a little time to go fabric browsing while I picked up some sewing supplies at Joann Fabrics and I wanted to share some of the pretty fabrics with you all!
Home Decor Fabric
So first of all, I’ve already professed my love for these Velvet Medallion Fabrics in the home decor section. I made some pillow covers for throw pillows in my living room from the dark gray but I love every one of these colors.
The Velvet Bubble fabric next to it is also a pretty way to add some texture to your space.
Nursery
Over in the flannel/nursery prints section I saw a bunch of these great patchwork cheater fabrics. Basically they’ve done the work of making a patchwork quilt top for you and all you need to do is quilt it to a backing fabric and bind it to make a cute baby blanket. I really loved the gray safari patchwork along with the coordinating flannel print and the whale patchwork.
There is also a very sweet bunny patchwork that has a coordinating fabric that features panels that are perfect for making into pillows.
Flannel
I also found a number of flannels that were super cute for kids. My favorite was this one of camping animals
I have a dog-loving kiddo who would adore these little Southwestern pups.
I also really enjoyed these cheerful zebra and sloth flannels.
Minky & Fleece
This soft cuddle fabric with turtles on it is adorable. I cannot find this on their site so I don’t have a link for you.
Patterned fleece can sometimes have images that are not very crisp but this Gold and Navy Buffalo Check is a nice, crisp print and very soft.
Knits
Summer is a long way off but this Yellow Lemons knit has me very much looking forward to warmer, sunnier days. I need to find a project to use it along with this coordinating yellow and white stripe.
Speaking of stripes, this rggplant, gold, and blue striped fabric is so pretty.
This Turquoise Mod Floral turquoise mod floral and this Pink Mod Floral are also getting me in the mood for spring. These two would make some very cute little girls’ dresses.
I dd not make it through everything in the store but these were some of the fabrics that caught my eye while I was shopping the other day. Which ones do you like? Let me know in the comments below!
