My Blogging Manifesto

I have been blogging now on this blog for almost 5 years.  And honestly, sometimes it’s a struggle because of self-doubt, feelings of inadequacy, and fear.  But recently I read a quote and it perfectly sums up why I blog.I am not the best at coding.  My photography leaves so much to be desired.  My sewing skills are self taught and probably never proper.  In so, so many ways I feel like I am the last person who should be doing this.

But it feels so so good to create.

I love making things with my hands.  There is something there in that process that makes my heart sing.  And I love to share that with other people so that they can have ideas and tutorials and inspiration to get in on the fun of making things.

Nothing that I make or do is perfect.  I am working on learning, and growing in all of these areas but even in the imperfections there is such a joy in the creating and so I want to keep on doing that here and I hope that you do too.
