My two boys are in two different schools with different schedules this year and each boy has activities also on different schedules. I do a whole lot of running around each day getting everyone where they need to go and I have to think about and prep for meals way before they happen.
When Babbleboxx offered to send me a box of Instant Meal Solutions to try out I jumped on it. I love anything that helps us with quick meals. I’m going to share about these awesome items with you as well as my tips for getting quick meals on the table when you’re a busy family on the go.
I love getting packages and was so excited to receive this beautiful box of goodies.
Tip #1: Find shortcuts that help you get a fresh meal done faster.
I had never tried Simply Beyond products before but I am in love! Simply Beyond Spray-On Herbs® are a blend of organic herbs and Non-GMO organic canola oil that you can use with your grilled meats, seafood, veggies, pizza, french fries, sauces, stews, salads (as part of the dressing), and popcorn. Simply Beyond herb extracts are full of flavor. You can spray them on before, during, or after cooking and they will elevate the level of everyday dishes effortlessly and affordably. I feel like the Spray-On Herbs® are a game changer for me because they are a year-round, shelf stable-source of fresh herb flavors that I can quickly add to so many foods to make a great fresh dish.
The Simply Beyond organic fruit vinegars are also very versatile. You can use them anywhere you’d like a dash of excitement. Add them to savory foods such as pork chops or Brussels sprouts in order to enhance their natural sweetness. Simply Beyond organic fruit vinegars make the best salad dressings because they give light, even coverage and work well even without added oil. Beyond salads you can try them on a sweet treat like berries and ice cream. Fruity vinegars can help stimulate your meals from start to finish.

Tip #2: Be prepared to eat some meals on the go by having hand wipes on hand.
As much as we prioritize sitting down around our kitchen table for meals as a family the reality is that we eat some meals on the go. We don’t have soap and water in the car so I like to be prepared for those snacks and meals in the car by having some Wet Ones® Antibacterial Hand Wipes on hand.
Antibacterial wipes are tough on dirt and germs (they kill 99.99% of germs!) but they’re hypoallergenic and gentle on my little boys’ skin. No matter where we are when out and about Wet Ones has us covered with canisters, travel packs, and singles. For more information, please visit the Wet Ones site.
Tip #3: Use a slow cooker to make main dishes and have a side that’s super quick.
Slow cookers are amazing but many times we like to have a side dish to go with our main. Uncle Ben’s ready rice is a perfect side dish because it’s ready in 90 seconds! We pop it into the microwave and it’s done before we can even set the table.
Tip #4: Take short cuts on weekdays.
Mornings can be hectic but I still like to make my boys a good breakfast. This Krusteaz pancake mix is perfect. You just need to add water so it saves you all that time you would have spent rummaging around in the pantry and fridge grabbing ingredients needed for making pancakes from scratch.
Tip # 5: Whip up a quick dessert that can bake while you’re eating.
This cake kit is awesome! The pan is included and it’s disposable which means you won’t have to spend time washing it when you’re done. I also like the portion size. Sometimes I want cake but then I bake a big one and we feel compelled to eat more than we should because we need to finish it up. This way we only make what we need.
Tip #6: Have leftover containers ready to go.
This helps make clean up simple and quick.
Ok, now I want to hear from you! What are some of your instant meal solutions or tips? Be sure to let me know in the comments below!

I've really enjoyed reading your posts. I'm excited to go and look for the these new spray-on herbs and the Power Bowls. Thanks for sharing! Our quick go to meal is Tyson Grilled and Ready Chicken chunks, Birdseye Steamfresh Brown Rice and Bridseye Steamfresh Brown and Wild rice with Broccoli and Carrots. Microwave each, combine it all together, add some soy sauce or a little teriyaki sauce and you have a quick rice bowl.
