5K Training Plan {Healthy Mama Challenge Week 22}

So on Friday I had a little outpatient surgery… nothing major in the grand scheme of things.  I had dental implants placed and I’ve been resting and recovering the past few days.  One day I plan to do a detailed post about my various dental experiences but not today.  I have a long and painful dental history and I’m not quite ready to hash through it all just yet.  As of right now things are going well and I’m thankful.

Now, back to training…

As I mentioned last week I plan to run the Flap Jack & Jill 5K on May 9th.  There are 74 days until the race.

I will loosely be following the Couch to 5K training schedule.  Here’s my plan:

So here’s how I’m doing weight-wise:

Since I last checked in one week ago I have lost 0.6 pounds or 0.37%.  Since beginning my challenge 21 weeks ago I have lost 10.2 pounds or 5.9% overall.

I have a few weight loss goals-

  • Get to a healthy BMI (0.8 pounds to go)
  • Get to my pre-pregnancy weight (2.8 pounds to go)
  • Get to my pre-marriage weight (7.8 pounds to go)
  • Total Weight Loss Goal {Get back to my ideal weight} (17.8 pounds to go)

Hopefully I will see some better results once I begin training later this week.  I’m giving myself a few more days to rest and eat jello so that my body has a chance to heal a little more before I exert myself too much.

Anyone else training for something?
