3 tips to help you remember your night time skincare routine

I have not always been the best at taking care of my skin. When I was younger, it basically took care of itself. I washed my face when I showered, but I didn’t do more than that. These days I’m a busy mom, so I don’t have a ton of time to spend on my skincare regimen, but I do sometimes have issues with acne. My skin has been somewhat difficult since having my two boys. The past couple of months I decided to try Differin® Gel.

This morning, I’m sharing my experience using Differin® Gel for the past eight weeks and my tricks for remembering my new morning and nighttime routines. Going from not really having a regular routine to having a skincare regimen, I’ve learned what helped me to remember it. Maybe these tips can help you too!

Tip #1-

Keep your skincare products in a place where you can see them. I keep my Differin® Gel, Differin® Moisturizer, and Differin® Cleanser in a cubby shelf right next to my sink where I can see them. You can see more about how I store my Differin® skincare products in my post, 5-Minute Skin Care Routine.

Tip #2-

Keep your skincare products with your toothbrush. Brushing my teeth twice a day is a routine that has long been ingrained since childhood. Since I brush my teeth both at morning and at night, it makes sense to do my skincare routine at the same time. Having everything together helps me to remember.

Tip #3-

Set a reminder on your phone. I have reminders on my phone for all sorts of things, so when I started my routine with Differin® Gel, I scheduled a reminder on my phone for each morning and night. This has helped immensely on days when I have been rushing around and I don’t have time to do it when I brush my teeth, thinking I will do it later.

So how was my experience with Differin® Gel? Here are some progress photos from the eight weeks:

I loved my experience using Differin® Gel. Before, I had intermittent breakouts, which were mostly around my hairline, my cheeks, and on my chin. After using Differin® Gel, my skin has improved. My breakouts have decreased in frequency and severity. I love that my skin is less red from acne.

I got my Differin® Gel at Walmart. Go to Differin.com to get $2 off Differin® Gel and use it on your next shopping trip to Walmart!

Differin® Gel is the first and only prescription-strength retinoid now available over-the-counter for clearing and preventing acne. Differin® Gel has a long-standing heritage as a proven acne treatment but is now in the OTC acne aisle. Differin® Gel contains the only multi-benefit dermatologist recommended retinoid, Adapalene, now available without a prescription to clear and prevent acne. It’s the newest advancement and ingredient in the over the counter acne category in over 30 years! Differin® Gel clears breakouts deep in the pores and prevents breakouts before they begin, which restores the texture and tone of your skin. Differin® Gel is for anyone who is suffering from mild to moderate acne.

Differin® Gel is not used in the same way as a spot treatment for acne. In order to get the best results, you should apply a thin layer all over your face, once a day, every day. I applied the Differin® Gel every night, along with the Differin® Balancing Cleanser and Differin® Balancing Moisturizer. You do need to use caution when using Differin® Gel with more than one acne treatment or glycolic acid product because this could lead to irritation.

I use my phone for reminders for all sorts of things. Sometimes life just gets busy and a little reminder popping up helps me get things done.
