I started working on some Jonah and the Whale Activities quite some time ago and I just now got back to them. They’re not all ready but today I do have a free printable Jonah and the Whale coloring page to share with you all today.
Life has been running at what seems like a crazy pace right now for what feels like months. I have not been able to work on more Bible activities but things are slowing down. The other day I finally sat down and worked on making some Jonah printables including a coloring page.
This Jonah and the Whale coloring page is a little bit of a hybrid. I came up with a basic image for kids to color but I want them to add their own drawings.
The coloring page features Jonah inside the belly of the whale (big fish? who knows really?) with a key verse from the book of Jonah. I think it would be great for children to draw in some other sea creatures, some fish, or maybe even some kelp or seaweed to fill the picture out.
Some children love coloring pages but I also love more open-ended activities like this where they use their imagination and make it their own.
