In continuing on with my DIY Christmas gifts series today I’m sharing how to make a personalized journal with vinyl and the Cricut Maker 3.
I used a regular old composition notebook but you could add vinyl designs to any other kind of notebook.

Pick from one of the many images in Design Space or use my project file. Click Make it. Design Space will walk you through loading the proper cutting tool and your materials.
Once your design is cut you will then weed out the vinyl that is not a part of your design.
Take the transfer taper and apply it to the front of your vinyl design.
Then peel the transfer tape and vinyl off of the paper backing so that the vinyl is on the tape. Then use the transfer tape to apply your design to the notebook. I love the idea of encouraging a young writer with a fun little journal.
You could cover just parts of the cover of the journal or the entire cover like I did when personalizing school supplies.
