And we are finally at the last of my 25 DIY Christmas gift ideas that you can make with the Cricut Maker 3. You can make so many great signs that the options are endless with all the great designs in Design Space and the designs that you can make yourself. I opted to make a festive sign celebrating hot cocoa and I’ll show you how.
Supplies Needed
- Cricut Maker 3
- permanent vinyl
- transfer tape
- blank sign to decorate
Tutorial
You can make your own design in Design Space or use my Hot Cocoa project file. Adjust the size of the image to the size that you need for your project and then Click Make It. Design Space will guide you through the process of loading your materials and cutting tool.
Once the design it cut you will then weed it to remove the vinyl that is not part of your design.

Now apply transfer tape to the front of the design.

Then peel the paper backing off of the vinyl.

Now use the transfer tape to apply the vinyl to your sign. Slowly peel the transfer tape away and you are done.
