Life is hectic. And right now I am working to be healthier so I need healthy solutions that are easy. So for this week’s Healthy Mama post I’m sharing with you some of my favorite easy options as well as a printable Food & Fitness Journaling Page, a food diary printable that I use to stay on track.
I use this printable to track my food and water intake as well as my exercise. When I have journaled like this in the past it has helped me to be more mindful of what I am eating and drinking and helps me achieve my goals so maybe it could be useful for you too.
On a recent grocery trip to Walmart I picked up some easy, healthy options for lunches for the week. I picked up some Healthy Choice® Power Bowls.
I love having a few of these in the freezer for quick lunches. Power Bowls are food with a purpose- to fuel your day! Every ingredient matters.
Each Power Bowl is made with simple ingredients that have bold flavors while offering an intentional balance of vegetables, proteins, and whole grains to fuel a healthy lifestyle. The New Power Bowls were created with kitchen-level ingredients, antibiotic free chicken, all natural USDA Choice beef, and bold flavors.
I especially love the Chicken Sausage and Barley Bowl. I love the savory combo of the greens, whole grain barley, roasted sweet potatoes, and apple Gouda chicken sausage all combined in a creamy roasted garlic sauce.
Right now there is an Ibotta where you can earn .75 cash back when you purchase Healthy Choice® Power Bowls at Walmart (any variety – any size).
I also picked up some bottles of smartwater.
Vapor-distilled for purity, smartwater is inspired by the clouds, with just the right amount of electrolytes for a uniquely clean taste. It has a premium taste but is accessible.
I sometimes struggle with drinking enough water and so I’m trying to up my intake of water right now and having these bottles ready to grab and take in the car when driving the boys around makes it much easier.
I keep track of all these things I’m eating and drinking on my food diary printable. One of my health goals is to be more conscious of what I’m eating and drinking and keeping a journal helps.
Food Diary Printable
You can get your own printable Food & Fitness Journal here. If you don’t want to print one for each day then you can laminate the journal page and use a dry erase marker to fill it out. At the end of each day wipe it clean and start all over again.

I had been tracking my food and water and it was really helpful. Then the holidays hit and I stopped. I really need to get back on track with that and my eating habits! These Bowls look delicious! Thanks for sharing this journal page! #client

The bowls are so good! I especially like the combo of the sausage and sweet potato together.
