Welcome to week 3 of the Healthy Mama Link-up! Today I’ve got a little progress report on how things are going for me. Please feel free to link-up or leave a comment to share how you’re doing too!
Diet
This past week was not so great food-wise. I held it together until the weekend, fell off the wagon all weekend, then got back on on Monday. I’m focused during the week but on the weekends I need to tighten things up. It’s like I get to Friday and instantly want to let loose. This week I’m going to try to be good- Still a little relaxed on the weekend, but not hog-wild. So no buttery risotto this weekend.
Exercise
I’ve been regularly running or working out on the elliptical. I’ve only done Pilates once this past week, but I need to work that in on a more regular basis. Yesterday was a long work out on the elliptical and I felt like giving up early, but I have these quotes on the wall of the basement where I can see them. They are from Lysa TerKeurst’s book Made to Crave.
Weight Lost
I weighed in this morning and since last Wednesday I have lost 0.2 pounds. That’s 0.1% for the week. Since beginning 2 weeks ago I have lost 3.4 pounds ( 1.97%) overall. I have a few weight loss goals-
- Get to a healthy BMI (7.6 pounds to go)
- Get to my pre-pregnancy weight (9.6 pounds to go)
- Get to my pre-marriage weight (14.6 pounds to go)
- Total Weight Loss Goal {Get back to my ideal weight} (24.6 pounds to go)

Congrats on your progress so far, that's awesome! I tend to fall of the wagon on the weekends too!
