Printable First Day of School Signs 2017

Summer is just getting into full swing for many of us but I know some of you have children who are heading back to school soon.  I had a nice reader email me this past week asking when I was going post the printable first day of school signs and honestly I had totally forgotten about them!  I would have eventually gotten to them as I love taking these photos with my own boys but I went ahead and made them so that you all can have them in time no matter when your kiddos go back to school.

I made one for each grade for preschool through twelfth grade.  This is the third year I have made these and each year I use the same basic design but I like to vary it up a little with changing the colors and fonts that I use.  Please feel free to use them for your own personal (non-commercial) use. I love making these sort of things and sharing them with you all!

Now if your kid crinkles the sign like mine do then you might want to print it onto a heavier cardstock or slip it into a little frame.  I do recommend that you remove the glass from the frame so that you don't have to worry about a glare.  Have them hold up the sign or frame with the sign in it and snap a few photos.  I love to see how my sons change year over year.

Are your kids starting school soon? We still have a few weeks left so I'm trying to squeeze in lots of summer fun with my two boys.  Whenever you start I hope you all have a wonderful start to your school year!

    1. I will! I always like to make the matching ones so people can make comparisons. I'll probably put them up at the beginning of May.
