My little guys have already begun chatting about Halloween and we are so excited to celebrate all things fall this year! One of my sons loves color by number activities so I came up with a Halloween Color By Number for him and I’m sharing it with you all this morning!
I’m not into any of the scary or creepy Halloween stuff but I love trick or treating and the whole community aspect of Halloween. The costumes are super fun as well. Keeping that in mind I came up with a cute Halloween color by number page featuring pumpkins that’s perfect for little ones.
This page kind of reminds me of one of our favorite Halloween Books- Five Little Pumpkins. It’s a great rhyming book for little ones. My boys loved it so much that we memorized it from reading it so many times. There’s a second one called Five Black Cats and it’s cute but they never got into that one as much.
If you have a pre-reader who is still working on reading the color names then you can take a marker and highlight each color word in the appropriate color to help him or her know which color each number should be.
