Food is fuel but crackers are party food. Crackers with cheese, crackers with dip, crackers with salami… I love it all. Today I want to share a recipe for what I like to call turkeyranchcuits.
Toppings to transform TRISCUIT Original Crackers into turkeyranchcuits:
- 4 ounces of cream cheese (let come to room temperature so it’s softer)
- 1 teaspoon dill
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried onion flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- dill pickle slices
- sliced turkey
Step 1: Combine the cream cheese with dill, garlic powder, onion powder, dried onion flakes, pepper, salt, and thyme.
Step 2: Assemble the turkeyranchcuits. Begin with a TRISCUIT Original Cracker. Spread with a little of the cream cheese mixture. Then place a piece of turkey on top of the cheese mixture. Finish by topping with a dill pickle slice.
I used TRISCUIT Original Crackers to make my turkeyranchcuits but I think they would also be great with the TRISCUIT Hint of Salt Crackers. I picked up my TRISCUIT Crackers on a recent trip to Walmart. I also picked up some TRISCUIT Smoked Gouda Crackers because I love Smoked Gouda.
