I already my shared my free printable first day of school signs for the 2023 school year but this year I wanted to have some more fun and design a second set of first day of school signs. Today I’m sharing with you all my first day of 5th grade sign printable.
Every year for the past few years I have made free printable first day of school signs for each grade which I have a lot of fun doing but they’re usually pretty plain. I decided to have a little fun with some of my school themed clip art and make something a little different this year in addition to the usual ones.
Recommendations
I highly suggest that you print your sign onto cardstock or print it out and pop it into a frame to keep your child from crumpling the sign. If you do decide to use a frame then you’ll want to take the glass out so that there is no glare in your pictures.
Also, try to get somewhere outside to take the pictures in natural light. Avoid using a flash and try to position your kiddo so that the sun is not in his or her eyes. Be sure to give yourself some extra time on the first day of school in order to snap these photos!
If you’re looking for the usual ones that I make you can find them in this blog post. I have a 5th grade one in that set if you like that style better.
