I don’t know about you, but there’s a little bit of Yukon Cornelius in me and every year at Christmas time I get all excited about silver and gold. This year I decided to add a little sparkle to my Christmas decorations with Scotch® Expressions Glitter Tape Gold and Scotch® Expressions Glitter Tape Platinum.

It was super quick to add some glamor to some plain glass votives. For my large votive I added some Scotch® Expressions Glitter Tape Platinum around the top and bottom edges.
Then I added in some branches, water, and cranberries. Finally I topped it with a floating candle.
I also used some Scotch® Expressions Glitter Tape Gold to add some sparkle to some smaller votives. The great thing about Scotch® Expressions Tapes is that they are extremely versatile. I had a lot of fun decorating some votives with horizontal stripes and some with vertical stripes.
This is such a simple project and yet I feel like you can really transform the plain, everyday glass votives into something special. Scotch™ Brand enables you to be hands-on and creative, which is especially fun during the holidays.
This is also a really inexpensive project that anyone can do- no special skills or tools needed. Armed with Scotch™ Brand, you’ve got this.

I also love that I these votives can be used other times of the year, not just at the holidays. I think that my sparkly votives would be great for setting out as part of a nice tablescape for a date night. I can even utilize the large votive as a vase for flowers.
I picked up my Scotch® Expressions Glitter Tape Gold and Scotch® Expressions Glitter Tape Platinum at Walmart in the Paper Crafting Aisle.
