Recently I stumbled upon an article about Fall Fashion Trends and while I am a fairly traditional dresser I do like to throw in a little fun every now and then. While I cannot get behind certain trends currently circulating (I just cannot bring myself to wear stacked heels or car wash pleats) there are a few that I can wholeheartedly embrace.
[one] Bling
I feel like most of my jewelry is understated but I love the big, sparkly pieces that are very current right now.
1. kate spade // 2.Devon Leigh // 3. kate spade // 4.Jade Bangle // 5.Jane Stone // 6. Amazon
[two] Cool Tights/Hoisery
I feel like these have been in the past few years and I’m glad to see they are still in because I cannot survive winter here in Ohio without tights. Now if I can just figure out how to get through winter without snagging holes in all my cute tights…
1. Nine West // 2.Hue // 3. HUE // 4.Hue // 5. Anne Klein// 6. Muk Luks
[three] 70s Inspired Pieces
We recently watched through most of Mad Men (not the last season part 2 though, so don’t tell me anything!) and I am so inspired by the 60s-70s fashion trends.
- Lucky Brand// 2.Joie Women // 3.Diane von Furstenberg // 4.BB Dakota // 5.Marc New York // 6.Anne Klein
[four] Chunky Sweaters
So cozy, so cute, and so necessary here in Ohio. I pretty much want to be in a blanket all fall and winter long and this comes close.
1. Vero Moda// 2. Aislinn // 3. Lauren Jeans Co. // 4. Old Navy // 5.LRL Lauren Jeans Co. // 6. Polo Ralph Lauren
[five] Red Plaid
I don’t have a ton of red in my wardrobe or a ton of plaid. But I am looking to incorporate this trend into my wardrobe this fall and winter.
1.Angie // 2. Toms // 3.Joie // 4. Remington // 5. Country Stitched // 6. Sperry
So, are you excited about any of these trends? What other trends are you embracing this fall?

Yess! Plaid and chunky sweaters are my LIFE! <3 I have a plaid scarf just like that and I can't wear it. It's still hot here in CA so I'm still stuck wearing as little as I can.

Haha, every time I think of California "cold weather" I think of that 90210 Christmas episode where they spray paint the Christmas tree. I hope it cools off for you soon!

These actually made me a little excited for fall, and usually I am not a fan! Those sweaters especially are super cute. I especially am digging number 5. It looks like such a cozy weekend sweater. I can definitely see myself wearing it at a fall soccer game.

I love 5! I haven't worn a poncho sweater like that in years and I love the coziness.

I love all of the plaid, especially that plaid scarf! And that BB Dakota dress is adorable. It would be perfect for the holidays (if I wasn't going to be eight months pregnant, that is). Have a great weekend!
