Leaves, Meatballs, & Furballs {Five on Friday}

Happy Happy Friday!  I’m excited that it’s Friday!  I have not felt well the past few days so the house is a wreck and I’m hoping that with the boys’ help I can set things to right this morning and then relax for the rest of the day and weekend.  Here’s my Friday Five:

1. Leaves

The leaves are falling in droves and we can barely keep up with them!  My husband has been spending much time in the evenings clearing them up and when the weather is nice I’ve tried to help him clear some by taking the boys outside and raking while they play.  I’m trying to tell myself to enjoy all the pretty colors since soon enough the winter will come and things will look pretty bare around here until it snows.

2. End Table

I’m very much enjoying having an end table next to our couch.  Before we were putting our drinks on the floor when we watched TV and let’s just say I accidentally knocked mine over dozens of times.  And it doesn’t hurt that the table was inexpensive either!

3. Evil Cookies

Fresh baked, warm cookies are like kryptonite to me.  I CANNOT resist.  I decided to bake some for the boys on Wednesday and got into them myself.  I have no picture of them because we ate 2/3 of them and I froze the rest of the dough to be used later.  No more cookies in the house this week, I’m just too weak.  I need to clean up my eating this coming week so that I can have another good week weight-loss wise.

4. Mighty Meatballs

I love to sneak veggies into our meals in whatever way I can and last night I whipped up these veggie infused meatball sliders.  I will be sharing this delicious recipe next week.

5. Puss in Boots

“It is never too late to do the right thing.”  I love that!  Sometimes it’s nice to just vegg out and watch a silly movie but it’s even better when that movie has some sage advice.  Not the best or funniest movie by any means but I was tired and it gave my mind a little rest last night.

Hope you all have a weekend!
