It’s Friday and I’m in Love

Good morning! This week may have been long but it’s Friday and that is a good thing. Here’s what I’m in love with this week!

[one] A Good Purge & Reorganization

My boys and I are going to be spending the day organizing and purging around the house some more and I’m super excited.  I’ll be marking more things off my organization checklist and I love love love that feeling!  I’m slightly type A if you didn’t already know.  And I may or may not be blasting 90’s music while we clean today.  I’m sure my boys will love it.

[two] Lucky’s New Coat

Lucky made the 5 last week and he’s here again because is there anything cuter than a dog in clothes?  I don’t think so.  We just got his first jacket this week.  This dog jacket is more functional than it is a fashion statement and it is enabling us to get in some walks when it would have otherwise been too cold so I love that.  Good for him and for me!

[three] Sew Can She

My Fabric Flower Headband Tutorial was the featured tutorial on Sew Can She yesterday and I’m so excited.  To have a beautiful blog that I love feature my blog makes me feel like I can do this whole blogging thing.  I have so much to learn still but this was such an encouragement to me!  If you’re into sewing and crafting you really should check out Sew Can She if you haven’t!

[four] Star of the Week

My son is star of the week for his class!  He’s so so excited about it and got into the car yesterday after school talking like a million miles an hour about everything we need to put on his poster.  I’m happy to see him so happy.  Hopefully I don’t go overboard on his poster a la Beverly Goldberg.

[five] Chipotle BOGO

So we went to Chipotle weekend before last and while we were there they were super nice and gave us a “Buy one Burrito get one Free” card just before we left.  We redeemed it last night.  Maybe it’s just me but they seem like they are trying really hard lately so that whole food poisoning incident must have hurt business.  But it hasn’t scared us and maybe if you’re brave too you might reap the benefits as well.
