TGIF!!!! I’m very excited for the weekend. Mostly because I got poison ivy last week and each day that passes brings me closer to the day when it finally stops itching and I no longer want to rip my skin off. Anyway, here’s what else I’m loving this week:
1. Mickey Mouse Party
My mouse-loving baby turned 2 and we had a blast celebrating Saturday. I’ll post all the details next week.
I took the boys to a new park this week and they are in love. For any Northeast Ohio locals you should check out the Kaleidoscope Playground in Wadsworth. It’s like a giant castle with all these little nooks and crannies for the kids to run around in.
3. Tax Free Weekend
This weekend is Ohio’s first Tax-Free Back to School Shopping Weekend. Friday through Sunday there is no sales tax on clothing $75 or less or school supplies $20 or less. Many state have a tax-free weekend now so be sure to take advantage if you live in one.
4. First 5 App
Proverbs 31 Ministries recently came out with a new app that I’m loving. You set a little alarm to go off and it reminds you at the appointed time to dive into the devotional for the day. Each one is accompanied by a beautiful graphic and I’ve just really enjoyed this little quiet time in the mornings.
5. First Day of School Signs
School is starting soon so this week I shared the printable First Day of School signs that I’ll be using to document the big day. Feel free to grab one for your own kids. And maybe have them practice posing cause I know mine kept waving it around and wiggling the whole time I tried to snap a photo.
Hope you all have a great weekend. I’m off to stock up on some more Benadryl and calamine lotion.

I can't wait to hear the details of the party! My almost 2 year old is also a HUGE Mickey fan and my older two are trying to talk me into a Mickey themed party this October for her. I'm excited to check what you guys did!

You should do it! It's a relatively low key theme and there is a lot of stuff out there whether you want to diy or get premade stuff. I'll share all the details this week.

Thank you! Yes, you totally should! One side of it is a tot side made for smaller ones and that was perfect for my 2 year old.
