Happy Friday! Summer is flying by for us and I cannot believe another week is over. Here’s what I’m loving this week.
Hiking
We have been doing a bunch of hiking lately partly because I want to explore more and partly for my son’s summer science homework. We have done a lot of new trails and I love it, especially since the weather cooled down a little this week.
National Park Service App
Since I am trying to hike more of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park I downloaded the National Park Service App. One of the rangers recommended it and it’s fantastic. You can even use it to see where you are on a trail and make sure you don’t get turned around.
Peach Dump Cake
I made this for my husband’s birthday and it was the easiest cake I have ever made and he loved it so I highly recommend this Peach Dump Cake recipe. It doesn’t look like much in this picture but he loved it.
Watermelon
I have been very into watermelon the past two weeks. We have eaten two each week. That’s a lot but I know watermelon will only be in season for so long so I’ve been taking advantage.
First Day of School Signs
Like I said, summer is winding down so I already shared my free printable first day of school signs 2024 post as I know some are heading back to school in 2 weeks already.
However much summer you have left, I hope you have a wonderful weekend enjoying it!
