Friday Favorites

Happy Friday everyone! Friday means that I survived my first Valentine’s class party as a mom.  Here’s what I’m loving this week:

[one] Snow, Snow, Snow

It snowed a lot last night.  And I wanna sing this every time it snows.  So I’ve been singing this all day yesterday and today.

[two] DSLR!!!!!

I ordered a camera this week.  Finally, no more iphone pictures on the blog.  Yes, that really does happen.  But now I’ve got a Nikon DSLR on its way to my door as we speak.

[three] New Spring Wreath

I threw together a new wreath using some things I had on hand.  I’m excited to finally have something on the door again.

[four] Gilmore Girls

I’m getting more and more excited for the Gilmore Girls reunion.  I will just go out there and say that I am rooting for Rory and Logan.  I never liked Dean.  I would maybe be ok with Jess.  But I really like Rory with Logan.  And let’s be honest- this means that I need to watch through all the seasons on DVD again.

Valentine’s Day has become a little bit more about our kids the past couple of years.  As much as I have enjoyed all the Batman valentines and class party shenanigans I’m looking forward to a nice, quiet date night at home this weekend.
