Friday Favorites

Happy Friday! I hope you have been enjoying your week so far. Ironically most of my favorites this week are music related. Here is what I am loving this week:

Switchfoot Christmas Concert

This was technically at the end of last week but I didn’t do a favorites then so I”m sharing it now. We took our kids to the Switchfoot Christmas concert and it was so much fun. If you like Switchfoot then you will love this concert as it’s a blend of their new Christmas songs and some of their best stuff. They put on a great show and I highly recommend it!

Piano Lessons

Our oldest has been taking piano lessons for a couple of months now and he’s loving it. I love that he is loving it. It’s a lot of fun to see your children pursue a passion.

Bus Driver 2

The band Caedmon’s Call was a popular band for a long time and my husband loved them when he was a teen/young adult. Our oldest loves listening to all of our old music and for some reason has always loved the song “Bus Driver” by Caedmon’s Call. They recently got together to do a reunion album and along with doing that they released a new song called “Bus Driver 2” which is a follow up to Bus Driver. My son played it for me and oh my goodness I cried. Bus Driver was kind of a quirky song but it actually had an awesome message about how we all matter and Bus Driver 2 built on that in a beautiful way.

Christmas Canvas

I made a DIY Christmas Wall Art canvas of some of our favorite song lyrics for our mantle this year. It’s fun to have some Christmas on the mantle this year.

Good Health

I know that a lot of sickness has been going around right now and so I have been reflecting this week on how we have been healthy lately and I’m very thankful. After the past couple of years it’s certainly not something that I take lightly.

I hope you all have a great weekend! Let me know what you’re loving or if you have any fun plans in the comments below!
