Happy Friday! I am very happy to be through this week. It was a long one. Here’s what I’m loving this week:
August
It’s August! I’m excited for the last month of summer. By no means do I want summer to end but I am looking forward to savoring this last bit of summer before fall comes.
Too Good
I’ve been listening to Jess Ray’s “Too Good” on repeat lately.
The Fence
I have been staining our fence this past week. I snuck in the back yard last week before the rain and today I’m going to stain the front section. Honestly I would not have picked this redwood stain but it’s what was on the fence before and so it’s the easiest/cheapest way to makeover the fence. My next project is our deck!
New Bib Pattern
I dragged my kids down to the basement on Wednesday and set them up with some crafting supplies so that I could have a little time to create. I made a new bib pattern and shared all about it yesterday. It always feels good to make something with my hands. Even if the finished product is not as good as I wanted it to be I still love the process of creating.
Back to School
We are in full preparation mode for Back to School in a couple of weeks. If you’re starting school soon be sure to grab my “First Day of School” signs to snap those adorable first day of school photos.
Have a wonderful weekend!

I don't think I have ever remembered to snap a first day of school picture (though I try to at least get one within that first week!).
