Happy Friday! We are just marching right along through summer. Here’s what I’m loving this week:
First Day of School Signs
School looks different for most of us this year but I still want to celebrate all the small things like the usual first day of school photos. This week I shared my Free Printable First Day of School Signs 2020 if you want to grab them and snap a few photos with your kiddos.
The Garden
A few weeks into sheltering at home I spontaneously decided that we needed to plant a garden. We pulled some seeds out of the freezer to start seedlings and I bought a few more plants to hedge my bets. So far we have gotten some cucumbers, basil, zucchini, and cherry tomatoes. Currently I am stalking the ripening of our first big tomato. When we planted this garden I had no idea how cathartic this whole gardening experience would be.
Joy Still Comes in the Morning
This Matt Maher song has really been my song for these past few months. I constantly find it turning over in my head. Life is heavy and hard and this is just really my heart song right now.
Walks & Bike Rides
We get out to hike and bike multiple times a week and it is so good for my mood. Since we are doing it so much we find ourselves trying out a bunch of new trails which is great too.
Coasters
Other than sewing up masks I really haven’t been able to sit down and craft much lately. It’s just been really hard for me but this past week I actually sat down with my Cricut and made some leather coasters.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Oh it was fantastic! That bridge was slippery but it was a great trail.
