Friday Favorites

Yay, it’s March! It’s been a crazy hectic week and after today’s busy day I am looking forward to crashing into my bed and sleeping in… until my younger son wakes me up. So let’s pray he sleeps in a little! Here’s what I’m loving this week:

Bluey

We discovered Bluey while we were in Disney World at Christmas and our boys adored it! It finally came to Disney+ so now we get to watch it at home. The family of Australian dogs is so charming and fun. My husband loves to see the portrayal of an involved dad who spends time with his kids having fun imaginative play. If you only watch one episode then watch the one called “Takeaway”, it’s hilarious and it perfectly encapsulates parenthood.

The Boys’ Toothbrushes

I know what you’re thinking… Toothbrushes cannot be exciting BUT I’m loving the Phillips Sonicare toothbrushes we got our boys. We have had them a few weeks and I love that it’s helping them do a better job brushing. These come with an app that helps them by showing them where to brush (and how) and I can monitor how long they are brushing for. They get little virtual rewards for doing well and both boys are totally into it.

Easter Books

Yesterday I shared a post full of our favorite Easter story books for kids. Some are ones we have loved for years and some are new ones we found at the library this week. Easter is later this year but I’m looking forward to it already.

Get Refreshed!

I have been invited to attend the Get Refreshed! event in Cleveland on April 20th and I was super excited to get my tickets. The event is all about self-care and features speakers about health and wellness, a yoga/movement class, luncheon, and more. If you’re in Northeast Ohio you should check it out! You can see the schedule, line-up of speakers, and get tickets on the Get Refreshed! event page.

As a hygienist, it makes my heart so happy to see you sharing the Sonicare for your kiddos... I always recommend an electric/battery operated toothbrush for kiddos. They clean wayy better! Good job Mama. And love those Easter books too.. Have a great weekend! xoxo

Yeah the goal was to get them an electric toothbrush and to get them to brush longer, so this does both for us!
