Happy Friday y’all! Honestly, this week is a blur. Last week we took a cruise to celebrate our 10th anniversary and ended up getting home very late Sunday night (early Monday morning!) and it’s been go, go, go ever since. This weekend I’m looking forward to catching up on some sleep. Here’s what I’m loving this week:
Our Cruise
We took a cruise in the Eastern Caribbean and it was amazing. We went on the Disney Fantasy to sort of scope it out for taking our boys on a cruise in a couple of years and we loved it. Honestly this was the first time we have left them for more than 2 nights and it was very hard to be so far from them for so long but it was a good opportunity for us to rest and spend time together.
We were originally supposed to be doing an Eastern Caribbean cruise but the hurricanes caused a change in our itinerary. I’m just thankful that we still got to go and that it wasn’t cancelled. I did not work on the trip so I won’t be sharing exhaustive cruise content but I will probably share some things that I learned.
Coming Home
Like I said… it was rough being far from the kids. I was good probably the first 4 days and then I really wished I could be home with my boys or that they could have been with us. My mom was amazing and took great care of them but we really missed them.
Soccer
It’s a busy season but I very much love watching my sons run their hearts out all over the soccer field. We missed a couple of games while on our trip so I’m going to savor the last few that we have over the next couple of weeks.
October
I enjoy fall quite a bit and October really has the best weather and leaves so I’m excited to be moving into this new month.
BSF
I am doing a Bible study this fall through Bible Study Fellowship International. We are studying the book of Acts and I love it! My youngest just started kindergarten and my schedule this school year allows me to go and I am so thankful for that.
What are you up to this week? Have a great weekend!

Happy belated Anniversary! How wonderful to get to try a cruise out before taking kids with you. My husband and I toured the Easter Caribbean on our honeymoon and loved cruising!

This was the first time we went for more than 2 nights and it had been years since that trip so it was tough!
