Happy Friday! I hope your week is going well! This week we have had VBS at our church in the evenings so we’ve busy. I’m super tired but it’s a good tired. Here’s what I’m loving this week:
My New Black Dress
Every once in a while I throw some item of clothing into my Amazon cart. It still scares me because generally I like shopping in person and I worry about fit and quality. BUT lately I’ve done well (like with this skirt) and so I ordered this dress and I LOVE it. It doesn’t really wrap around but the tie is adjustable and I think it’s flattering. The material is soft and it’s a nice thickness. I may eventually order it in red or green. Or navy but I have way too much navy.
Hobby Lobby Has Started with Christmas
I know this is controversial but Hobby Lobby has put out the Christmas stuff. Yes, it’s early. I’m generally not super enthused about the “Christmas Creep” BUT in the crafting world it’s helpful for the Christmas stuff to come out early. Blogging-wise we have to work a few months ahead and I’m already working on Fall stuff. Christmas is not far behind. I thought these
sisal trees
were so pretty all together.
Vacation Bible School
From Christmas to my kids’ second favorite thing- VBS. Each night this week we’ve been at church super late and I’ve had to up my caffeine intake a bit to keep up but I love seeing the little ones having so much fun at church. This year’s theme was “In the Wild” and I helped with decor and registration. The Cricut was working over time cutting out leaves last week. If you need me this weekend I’ll be sleeping!
Anniversary Flowers
My husband got me flowers for our 10th anniversary over 2 weeks ago and they are still looking gorgeous. It’s been a few days since this snap and the roses are showing some age but the lilies (I think they’re lilies?) are going strong and the whole arrangement still looks pretty.

That's a cute dress! I have gotten a few duds from Amazon when it comes to clothes, but I've also gotten a few really great dresses from there as well! I've found that reading comments is really the key to figuring out if an item is going to be worth it or not.
And your anniversary flowers are beautiful! Congrats on 10 years!

Yes! Those comments are so important and what gives me the confidence to try some of the clothes on Amazon. I also find it helpful when I can see the clothes on other bloggers/instagrammers so that's why I wanted to share. Have a great weekend!
