Friday Favorites – Mary Martha Mama

Hello and Happy Friday to you all! We made it through the short week but jam packed week and I’m so excited for the weekend. Here’s what I’m loving this week:

[one] This Green Dress

I bought this green dress on Amazon a couple of months ago and I’m still loving it. I’m including a picture of me in it so you can see it in real life but as we all know, I am basically the most awkward person to model anything ever. For reference I’m 5’9″ so this is a maxi that is actually pretty long. I wish it were 2 inches longer like this other maxi dress I have but it’s still pretty good. It almost skims the top of my sandals.

The material is comfortable and it comes in a lot of colors. The color I got is dark green. I also have my eye on the long sleeve version in burgundy.

[two] Show and Tell Series

I have FINALLY finished my letter of the week show and tell series. I originally wrote a Show and Tell Ideas post some time ago and near the end of this past school year I decided to do an entire series of show and tell ideas from A to Z and update that post as I went along. My Show and Tell Ideas post now has over 550 ideas! Parents, if you have a preschooler who does a letter of the week curriculum and you’re struggling to think of something that begins with one of the letters then this post is for you.

[three] Bacon & Blue Cheese Salad

I cannot get enough of bacon and blue cheese lately and in particular I have been loving on this bacon and blue cheese salad majorly.

[four] New(ish) Chairs

We got some old dinning chairs from a neighbor a while back and they sat in our basement for a while. The fabric was a little rough but they are very solid chairs and super comfy.

I finally got around to redoing them. Well, I’m going to call this phase 1 of the makeover. I basically just cleaned them up and reupholstered the fabric. I think I eventually want to paint them but I wanted to live with them for a while before deciding exactly what we want to do with them once we move up to a bigger table. I wrote a post all about how to reupholster dinning room chairs.
