Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!  This week (and summer!) has been so hectic and the craziness just continues this weekend BUT I’m thankful it’s Friday.  Friday is always so full of hope, isn’t it?  I’m particularly looking forward to this weekend as my husband is coming home today from a business trip!  Here’s what I’m loving this week:

[one] The Beach

We just got back from spending a week at the beach with my side of the family.  I love to be by the water and it’s so much fun for my kids to get to spend some quality time with my family since we live so far away.

[two] New Planner!

So I’m a bit picky about my planner.  And they stopped making the one I used for the past 3 years.  So I’m trying a new one with a slightly different format to it.  Maybe I need to write a whole post about about it once I use it a little.  I just got it this week and sat down and wrote down all the appointments we have scheduled for the coming year and it felt good.

[three] Rock Wall

My boys tried rock wall climbing for the first time this week and they loved it!  The first few climbs they didn’t go very far but each time they kept pushing higher and I loved seeing them get more comfortable with it.  This might have to become a more regular thing.

[four] Duck Tales!

Did you know that they brought Duck Tales Back?  Yup.  And my kids are eating it up!  The new episodes are a lot of fun.

[five] Maxi Dress

I ordered this maxi dress on Amazon and just got it.  I’ve tried it on and washed it, but I have yet to wear it.  I’ll be sure to share what I think once I do.  So far I think I like it.  I bought it because the reviews were favorable and taller girls mentioned it being a maxi that’s actually long enough which is such a struggle.  I’m 5’9″ and it hits me at the top of my feet.  I wish it was like 2 inches longer like another maxi I just bought at TJ Maxx but I’m still gonna keep it.  I bought the maxi below in dark green and it’s a pretty color.
