Happy first Friday of April! We made it to Friday. I consider this an accomplishment as this week was our spring break and my kids and I have been super busy so I’m exhausted. Here’s what I’m loving this week:
We got to visit my family in Virginia for Easter and had a wonderful time. I love watching my kids make memories with our extended family.
[two] Spring Break
My boys and I have been having a fun break. Nothing fancy but lazy mornings, Lego building, videogames, and the zoo…
We are members of the Akron Zoo and my boys love it. We went twice this week! It’s a small zoo but we have a great time. It’s also dangerously close to Krispy Kreme, which thankfully is closed this week for rennovations… not that I tried to go there and found that out or anything.
[four] Sticky SEO
I am celebrating! I finished my Sticky SEO course this week. I have so much work to do in order to optimize my blog but what I have done so far has increased my search engine traffic quite a bit and has given me some fantastic direction for how to optimize everything moving forward. I highly recommend taking this course if you have a blog!

Working lunch. One of my big goals this year is to learn this seo stuff that I’ve been ignoring for the nearly 4 years I’ve been blogging. So I’m taking a class and I’m going slow. Super slow. Cause I am not a technical girl at all #stickyblogging @kellyjholmes #blogging #blogger #seo
[five] Bloggy Conference
Another recommendation for all you bloggers… Bloggy Conference 2018! Last year I went to Bloggy Con at Cedar Point and I learned so much. I loved that I could implement some things as soon as I got home but I have also been unpacking all the other things I learned in the past 6 months since last year’s conference. I’m even more excited since they announced yesterday that Rachel Brenke will be the keynote! Get more information (affiliate link) and register for Bloggy Conference 2018. Also, this was my first ever blog conference last year so you can see how terrified I was last year. This year I look forward to not being quite so scared.
Thanks for reading and I hope you have a great weekend! I’m linking up with:
