Hello! Happy Friday! I feel like school just started for my kiddos and yet here we are, 8 weeks of school done and nigh unto Halloween. Life is just too hectic right now but hopefully this weekend we get a chance to breathe a little this weekend. I hope you do too. Here’s what I’m loving this week:
[one] New Phone!
My phone kept dying on me at random times and I’d had it for over 3 years so this past weekend I got a new one. I got the iphone 8 plus and I’m loving it BUT I haven’t found a case yet and I’m petrified of dropping it and breaking it. Any recommendations on cases? I looked at some of the Riffle Paper Co. ones (like this one) since they’re so pretty but I read that they don’t really offer too much protection. Anyone know of pretty cases that do protect well? I need a decently tough one because I’m a total clutz and drop my phone pretty regularly.
[two] Hale Farm
I got to go on a field trip this week with my older son and we had a blast exploring Hale Farm. My older son had fun going back in time and my younger son had fun running around splashing in puddles and finding sticks.
[three] Videos
I’ve started filming video tutorials for some of my most popular sewing tutorials. There’s a definite learning curve to all of it but hopefully soon I will be uploading them to my Youtube channel.
As I shared earlier this week I’m using a food journal page to keep track of what I’m eating right now. Writing it all down definitely helps me to be more conscious of what I’m eating.
[five] Tabata
I’m probably going to regret this… but I’m signing up for a Tabata class that starts in a few weeks. Have you tried it? I read about it but I’ve never done it so I would love to hear about it if you have. I tend to do well with classes and the time and days this one is offered next session are perfect for my schedule.
I hope that you have a great weekend! And as always, thank you for reading along.

I love Hale Farm...we live in OH and my kids went on a field trip there too! Good luck with tabata!! I have no experiences with it--but I do love trying new workout classes.
