Happy Friday! Things are busy busy with school beginning this week and the whole surgery recovery but we are going really well and looking forward to the weekend. Here’s what I’m loving this week:
[one] Good Friends
A friend sent me some verses ahead of my surgery last week and I have to say, friends who send you kinds words and speak love and comfort into your life are precious.
[two] Naps
Back in July my son who recently turned 3 was fighting his afternoon nap and I let it go while we were in Virginia. I didn’t want to fight it there. But when we got home I decided that it was too soon for him to drop it (majorly cranky) and took the fight back up. I’m glad I did. The first few days were rough but we are back into the routine and it has been so nice, especially since my husband went back to work on Monday and I’m supposed to be easing my way back up to a normal activity level.
[three] Ham & Bean Soup
One of my friends brought me Simply Recipes’ White Bean and Ham soup on Monday and oh my was it good! I feel like I could turn around and make it again next week it was so good.
[four] Kindergarten
My first born began kindergarten this week. He’s loving it and we love his teacher and school. And I was totally that mom and took a million pictures on the first day. If you need a free first day of school printable grab one!
[five] College Football
Every fall I become a college football widow. Honestly, I don’t mind. We have a few watching parties, I catch up on my reading some games, and overall I love the festive-ness of it all. One of my favorites is watching/napping on a Saturday afternoon, which hopefully I get to do tomorrow.
Any fun plans for the weekend? I hope you have a good one!

I hope you're recovering well. My son is 3 and I'm NOT ready for him to give up the naps yet. He can go without if it's absolutely necessary, but we try not to get in that position. Cute printable! Thanks for linking up with us for H54F!
