Friday Favorites

TGIF!!!! My apologies to those of you who don’t like too many exclamation points, but I’m excited to see Friday.  Here’s what I’m loving this week:

[one] The Washi Dress

I ordered a kit for the dress pattern and fabric to make the Washi Dress.  I’ve been eyeing the pattern for some time so when I saw the kit on clearance on Craftsy I had to order it.  I’m looking forward to jumping in this weekend.

[two] VBS

My son attended VBS this week at his school and I’m so thankful for all the hard work the volunteers put into it.  He had a fantastic time and loved seeing some of his friends from school.

[three] Sand & Water Table

My mom and dad sent this for S’s 3rd birthday this week and to say that the boys love it is putting it mildly.  It’s the Step 2 Cascading Cove Sand and Water table and came recommended by Stefanie.  I love it when you all give me suggestions!  So far we love it.  I’ll keep you posted on how it holds up.

[four] Target Toy Clearance

FYI for any parents out there- Target had a great toy clearance going on this week.  We saw a lot of fun things, but nothing much our boys really needed.  We did get one thing though, a Snoopy Board game.  Our 5 year old loves to play board games with us so we thought it would be a fun new one to throw into the mix.

[five] Gilmore Girls!

The trailer came out this week with the release date!  I am so excited!!!  But this scene feels a little stiff… is it just me?  I’ve been re-watching lately so I feel like I’m up on how the show feels.  Something feels different here.  Maybe just the passage of time, them being older, etc.  Either way I will take what I can get.
