Happy Friday everyone! This week has been slow… in a hurry up and wait kinda way.
[one] Surgery
I had some dental surgery on Monday. Nothing super serious… a removal of some dental implants that failed and a bone graft of bone from one area of my jaw to another. It’s another in a series of surgeries that I’ve had ever since I passed out and damaged my front teeth when I was 13. One day when things are more complete and all of it is behind me I will write about everything that I’ve been through but right now suffice it to say that I’m thankful that Monday went well and that I haven’t been in too much pain this week. It’s been frustrating to have to rest and I’ve certainly looked better but right now I’m just trying to focus on being thankful that things are going well.
[two] Easter Outfits
My mom is a gem and emailed me some Easter outfits to choose from for the boys and ordered them for me on Tuesday. With everything going on lately I’m so happy she did the leg work for me and she picked out some cute ones from Gymboree.
[three] Creamy Italian Tortelini Soup
Need a new soup recipe? Be sure to check out the Creamy Italian Tortellini Soup recipe I shared on Tuesday. It’s got a nice rich flavor and it’s easy to make.
I started watching through Gilmore Girls while recovering this week. Yes, I am totally gearing up for the reunion. I think it’s been at least 6 years since I watched through them and it’s still so good. Much like Harry Potter I think I will always be able to come back to Gilmore Girls and love it just as much.

Yuck dental surgery! Glad it went well though. I despise the dentist's office. That Easter outfit is absolutely adorable!

Oh my gosh you poor thing with the dental surgery! They say that mouth pain is the worst kind of pain, and I believe it. I've never had any major surgeries on my mouth, but a few minor ones (wisdom teeth, lip tie, etc). The mouth is just such a sensitive spot! I hope you are feeling better.
So excited for Gilmore Girls too!! I keep meaning to rewatch it all. It's definitely one of those shows you can always come back to.
