Happy Friday!!!! April is almost over, which means it’s almost May, which means it’s almost SUMMER! I know, I’m getting a little ahead of myself but the weather has been great and so I’m in a fantastic mood today.
[one] Bloggy Conference
I know I’ve mentioned this before but I am getting so excited for Bloggy Conference 2018! The past couple of weeks more of this year’s conference speakers are announced and this year is going to be amazing. So far I am looking forward to all of the sessions but I’m probably the most interested in the sessions “Landing and Navigating a Brand Ambassador Position” and “Search Engine Optimization Fundamentals for New Bloggers”. Get more information (affiliate link) and register for Bloggy Conference 2018.
I went back to tabata class after a few weeks off for various reasons and it hurts so good. If you have not tried tabata before and you have the chance I highly recommend it! It’s basically intervals of cardio and strength exercises. There’s various timings of it but the class I do has 8 rounds and you repeat two exercises four times during each round. That sounded way more convoluted than it is. I love it because mentally I can push myself with thoughts like “30 seconds, I can plank (wall jump, do jumping jacks, run, etc) for 30 seconds”. I just mentally focus in on each piece of each round and the idea of the whole 45 minute workout doesn’t intimidate me.
[three] Choosing Your Grandma Name

So we may have asked him to tweak his choice a little but let’s just say I am pretty sure my mom had the following process going on in her head when she landed on her name-
[four] Outdoor Prep
We began working on getting some of the outdoor spring cleaning done this week. We mowed the back yard, cleared up leaves and sticks, washed and scrubbed the deck, and started cleaning out the garage and shed. We have a ton of work to do and I just want to get through it all so we can get to enjoying the outside. I also started making a tablecloth (the picture below is not the finished product yet!) and I’ll be showing the finished tablecloth in a post on Monday.
[five] Show & Tell
