Friday Faves

Happy Friday!  It’s been a while since I’ve done a Friday Favorites post so I thought I’d share a few current loves with you.

[one] Fresh off the Boat

My husband randomly turned this series on a couple weeks ago and I love it!  There’s some language that I don’t care for but overall it’s a really funny comedy about a Chinese-American family that moves to Orlando in the 90s.

[two] Dear Mr. Knightley

I just got this book from the library and read it over the span of 2 days.  I tripped on a toy and hurt my ankle on Wednesday so I finally had an excuse to sit and dig into it.  It’s been a long time since I’ve read any light fiction and I really enjoyed this quick, easy read.  I highly recommend it!

[three] Christmas Shopping

We are nearly done!  The gift I might be most excited about is the Kindle Fire Kids Edition Tablet we got for our son who is nearly 5.  We had an ipad but it was dropped and shattered.  He has told me many times how sad he is about that so I know he will love getting his own tablet for Christmas.  And I love that this tablet has a nice protective case and if he does break it in the first 2 years they will replace it!  Plus it comes with 1 year of Amazon FreeTime Unlimited, which he will love.  And it was only $99.99!  It just came yesterday and I’m excited to get it wrapped up and ready to give.

[four]  New Fabrics!

I got some new fabrics from Birch Fabrics Beyond the Sea collection and I’m smitten.  I already made a burp cloth set for my shop and I’m working on a blanket.
