Friday Favorites

It’s Friday y’all!  This week has actually flown by with its busyness but I’m excited for the holiday weekend.  We’ve got a wedding to go to and a mini-getaway so it should be lots of fun.  Here’s what I’m loving this week:

[one] 7th Anniversary!

We celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary on Monday and we kept it simple this year with a quiet dinner out to Cheesecake Factory.  It was dark so clearly this photo does it no justice, but we indulged in some scrumptious cheesecake.

[two] Workouts

We joined the YMCA about a month ago and I am just now finally setting into a regular routine.  Before moving here I belonged to a gym for years but since then I fell out of routine so it’s nice to be getting back to the gym on a regular basis.

[three] Superhero Fabric!

I cannot wait to get to work making this fabric into a blanket for my younger son.  He will finally have a Batman & Superman blanket which will be good because right now he steals his brother’s Batman blanket and big brother doesn’t love that.

[four] Map Coloring

My 5 year old son and I are currently coloring in a few states each day on this fun map that I picked up at Marc’s.  It actually came in a 2 pack with a map of the world so it’s safe to say we have hours and hours of coloring ahead of us.

[five] T-shirt Dress

I’m in the middle of making a t-shirt dress and I’m so excited!  I spilled bleach on my favorite on and so I decided to use it to make a pattern and make a few.  I bought the fabric ages ago and just got down to work yesterday.  I’m hoping to finish today and share all about it next week.
